They absolutely hate cameras. He should not have even tried with a camera crew. To have a fighting chance, don't even have your phone out. And the guy was right– they do smell fear and won't let tourists in. (speaking from experience, I got in 2012 and was standing behind a girl who got rejected 2x in a row).
